This job aid was created as a quick-reference guide to support the Pharmacy Benefit Denials training course. Designed for member service representatives (MSRs) to use after completing the course, it organizes common claim denials into four categories: provider follow-up, pharmacy follow-up, member education, and alternative resources. Within each category, the job aid provides examples of typical denials and guides the MSR to help members resolve their issues efficiently. The alternative resources section offers additional support options that MSRs can share with members when standard resolutions are not available. This tool reinforces course content, promotes consistency, and empowers MSRs to deliver confident, informed assistance to members.
