Hello!
I hold a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee in Science and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Lee University. With experience teaching a wide range of learners, I discovered my passion for creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences for adults, both online and in person. I’m driven by the challenge of identifying learning gaps and transforming them into meaningful, effective learning opportunities that promote growth and confidence.
I grew up in Kingston, Tennessee—a small rural town outside Knoxville—where a love for learning and teaching took root early in my life. That passion led me to the University of Tennessee, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education and had the honor of marching in the Pride of the Southland Band.

After graduation, my husband and I started our family and became actively involved in community and ministry work. During our time in Las Vegas, I helped launch a new church plant, where I built a children’s ministry program from the ground up and trained volunteers to lead engaging, meaningful learning experiences. When our family returned to Tennessee, I reentered the classroom with a renewed commitment to helping learners grow.

As I continued to develop professionally, I earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Lee University. While teaching middle school, the COVID-19 shift to remote learning sparked a new passion for digital education. I discovered how technology could transform learning into something more interactive, accessible, and lasting. That experience led me to support fellow educators in integrating technology and designing effective online learning environments.

Today, as an instructional designer, I apply that same creativity and learner-centered approach to the corporate world—developing e-learning, microlearning, and instructor-led training that bridges skill gaps and inspires growth. My goal is to design learning that empowers people to perform with confidence, develop new skills, and reach their full potential.
